Shepherdstown’s 4th of July Parade & Picnic
For a classic, community-centered Fourth, Shepherdstown’s annual parade and picnic is well worth the short drive. Organized by the Rotary Club of Shepherdstown since 2007, the celebration kicks off in the morning with a parade proceeding down German Street, followed by a free picnic from noon to 3:00 PM at Morgan’s Grove Park.
The picnic includes a waterslide, kids’ activities, and live music from two local bands. The Rotary Club will be selling hamburgers, hot dogs, chips, ice cream, and non-alcoholic beverages, with proceeds going toward event costs.
